Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to lead the ceremony where the idol of Ram Lalla will be consecrated in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has invited people from various backgrounds including politics, business, entertainment, religion, sports, and culture.

This includes key figures from Congress, Trinamool Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), Nationalist Congress Party, National Conference, and Communist Party of India (Marxist).

Prominent leaders from Congress like Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh won’t be present, raising questions about the party’s stance on the event.

Leaders from Trinamool Congress (Mamata Banerjee) and Aam Aadmi Party (Arvind Kejriwal) are also skipping the ceremony, reflecting diverse political perspectives and regional considerations.

Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party’s Sharad Pawar have also chosen not to participate, highlighting the complex political landscape and regional sentiments.

Leaders from National Conference (Farooq Abdullah) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) (Sitaram Yechury) won’t be attending, showcasing the nuanced nature of Indian politics.

Initially, Akhilesh Yadav from the Samajwadi Party declined the invitation but later expressed willingness to visit the Ram Mandir after the consecration ceremony, showing a shift in stance.

Veteran BJP leaders LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi are unlikely to attend, possibly due to health or personal reasons.

The Uttar Pradesh government has made extensive preparations for the event, including designated parking spaces for over 22,000 vehicles under drone surveillance, to ensure a well-organized and secure environment for the attendees.
