Sita ki Rasoi In Ayodhya (सीता की रसोई अयोध्या)
Sita ki Rasoi (सीता की रसोई) is a unique religious site located in Ayodhya. It used to be a temple, but now it is a royal kitchen for Goddess Sita. The temple has a model of an ancient kitchen in one corner. It has symbolic kitchen items like a rolling plate and rolling pin.
On the other side of the temple, there are idols of four brothers – Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughan. Their wives Sita, Urmila, Mandavi, and Srutakirti are also there. The temple is symbolic because Goddess Sita is also known as Annapurna, the Goddess of Food.
Legend says that the Goddess gave all people the power to share food and feed the poor and needy. She fed her whole family and all of mankind. Even today, the priests continue this tradition.
